About Us

Welcome to Stubbington Green Runners.

Stubbington Green Runners is based on the South coast of England between Portsmouth & Southampton, drawing members from the local communities of Stubbington, Lee on the Solent, Titchfield, Locks Heath, Whiteley and beyond. Originally founded in 1985 Stubbington Green Runners currently has 550 members and remains committed to encouraging running at all levels, and caters for runners of all abilities.

Affiliated with England Athletics, the club participates In local road and cross country leagues throughout the year. The structured, progressive training offered aims to enable all runners to develop and fulfil their own potential. There is also an active social section which aims to organise fun and family friendly events to compliment the training and the competitive racing calendar.

Mission Statement:

We aim to support, guide and inform all abilities within a friendly and encouraging club environment through the provision of a structured training, race and social programme to fulfil member’s potential as athletes.
